- Ensure that the Food Market and Bistro are run efficiently and in line with commercial priorities, food safety standards, and the IKEA identity.
- Lead the local implementation of the food business strategy and yearly commercial calendar, working closely with relevant departments.
- Oversee the execution of the IKEA food communication strategy in the store, ensuring a consistent and inspiring customer message.
- Act on customer feedback to continuously improve the food offer and customer experience.
- Ensure that the Food Market and Bistro areas are well-maintained, attractive, and aligned with store visual and layout guidelines.
- Work closely with the whole IKEA FOOD Management Team to secure high operational standards and a great customer experience across all IKEA food areas.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the store’s business plan, as well as action plans for the IKEA food department.
- Ensure your team has the knowledge and skills needed to talk confidently with customers about our food offer and related services.
- Identify, hire, onboard, and develop team members, building strong succession plans.
- Build and lead a diverse and high-performing team by sharing IKEA values, developing food and retail competence, and encouraging co-worker ownership.
- Implement and follow up on global and national initiatives related to people and sustainability.

- You know how to deliver strong business results through your team.
- You stay calm and focused under pressure and manage setbacks effectively.
- You’re fluent in both Italian and English, spoken and written.
