Junior Accountant

The company is an international freight forwarding company looking for a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Genoa, Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their accounting career to gain hands-on experience in an international environment while working alongside experienced finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily accounting and financial transactions.
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Help prepare financial reports and basic management reporting.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing.
- Assist with VAT filings and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare documentation for audits and internal reporting.
- Work closely with internal teams, customers, vendors, and banks.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,



Finance, or a related field (or currently completing one).
- Up to 2 years of accounting experience, including internships.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good Excel and MS Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Good command of English.
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
