We are looking for a: Stress Analyst

Site: Pomigliano D’Arco

Responsabilities:

The purpose of work is to conduct structural end fatigue analyses of composite and metal parts through hand calculations (i.e Excel spreadsheets) and FEM specialistic activities.

FE Analysis:
- Perform Linear and Non-linear FE Analysis using commercial Pre and Post software (e.g., Apex, Patran, Hypermesh) and common solvers (e.g., MSC.Nastran).




- Conduct Explicit FE Analysis (Bird Strike, Crash, Impact) using LS-Dyna, MSC.Nastran SOL 700 (Dytran), or Radioss.

Support and Testing:
- Provide support for manufacturing and in-service structural parts throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute to structural test requirements and compare analytical vs. experimental results.
- Prepare stress analysis reports and test assessment reports.

Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Airvehicle department for loads.
- Work with the Design department for CAD surfaces.
- Coordinate with Large Structural Laboratories for detailed tests, sub-components tests, and full-scale tests.
- Engage with the Material & Processes team for materials allowable.

Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.

Seniority: Junior, 0-3 years of experience
