ROLE PROFILE

Position: Accountant/Finance Manager, Italy Services
Department: Group Finance
Location: Milan, Italy
Reports to: Europe Regional Finance Director
Salary Range: EURO 50,000.00 - 60,000.00

PURPOSE
The Finance Manager will have full ownership of the Italy Services entity (c.15 employees), leading all financial, payroll, and statutory activities. This is a hands-on role combining financial control, accounting, payroll coordination,



and business partnering within a small, standalone entity environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Control & Accounting
- Maintain full ownership of the general ledger and accounting records
- Record and analyse salaries, including payroll postings and reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets: capitalisation, movements, and monthly depreciation
- Record purchase invoices, staff expenses, and ensure compliance with deductibility rules
- Prepare and post accruals and deferrals (G&A; and other costs)
- Manage bank postings, reconciliations, and transaction allocations

2. Payments & Cash Management
- Oversee and process all payments including:
- Salaries, tax payments, pension funds, and suppliers
- VAT, corporate taxes, and other statutory payments
- Act as secondary approver on banking platforms
- Monitor cash flow and working capital

3. VAT, Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
