HealthPlus Staffing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for Emergency Services to lead a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department in northwest Alabama. The selected candidate will oversee the strategic and operational direction of the Emergency Services department while partnering with physicians, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.

Practice Details
- Full-time employed leadership position
- Oversight of a busy, 24/7 Emergency Department
- Lead and support a collaborative team of approximately 70 RNs and nursing support staff
- Department volume of approximately 46,000 patient visits annually




- Responsible for strategic planning, operational performance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and executive leadership to enhance patient care delivery
- Drive staff recruitment, retention, engagement, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and departmental financial performance

Clinical & Leadership Opportunity
