Position Overview
We have an immediate need for a Senior Buyer who will support the purchasing initiatives within our Supply Chain team and ensure that the required focus is placed on the supply risks. The successful candidate will interface with operations,



engineering and product development groups to provide purchasing expertise and support best practices. This is a permanent position based in our Brescia Office.

Requirements

• Ensures that purchasing policies are followed and maintain all purchasing documentation
• Arranges Supplier Meetings and follow up on actions and report preparation
• Ensures that Purchase Orders (POs) are created on time while proactively identifying risks and providing mitigation plans
• Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy
• Monitors and upgrades supplier performance against contractual standards whilst maintaining good supplier relationships
• Responsible for maintaining integrity of procurement system and has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Creates and maintains bill of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enter
