Shape the regional transport strategy and make a real customer impact
The Regional Head of Transportation is responsible for managing regional transportation (80% scope in Italy) for Distribution and After Market Service. This includes negotiating contracts as well as analyzing carrier performance to ensure customer satisfaction and transportation KPIs are met.
What You'll do
- Manage the portfolio of transportation providers by developing, implementing and monitoring contracts as well as relationships with providers.
- Negotiate transport-related topics (parcels, pallets, chartering) in the context of calls for tenders (RFQ).
- Manage costs through monthly performance reviews with carriers and analyze billing data in order to define continuous improvement actions.
- Ensure control of the transport budget by providing relevant and critical analysis.
- Drive transport performance and improve data quality in SAP with KPIs such as MBR Scorecard, Regional TRR, OTIF and CX.
- Ensure service levels are met to align supplier performance with customer expectations and business strategy.
- Lead cross-functional and international projects, deploy strategic projects and implement the best practices.
