Purpose of the position: As Process Engineer, you will respond to the Process HOD and be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line. In this role you will manage a dedicated team – if applicable. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Preparation of Process Design Criteria, Design Basis, and operating philosophies
- Process simulations and preparation of Heat & Material Balances (H&MB;)
- Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;)
- Equipment sizing, calculations, and preparation of process datasheets
- Instrument sizing, calculations, and preparation of instrument datasheets
- Development of Cause & Effect (C&E;) Matrices and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) Philosophy
- Relief load calculations and PSV sizing
- Flare and blowdown system design
- Line sizing and hydraulic calculations
- Utility summaries and process input to utilities design
- Support to HAZID / HAZOP studies and design reviews
- Technical support during vendor documentation review and TBEs
- Interface management and coordination with other disciplines and licensors
What are we looking for? Education: Master's Degree in Chemical Engineer Experience: 1-2 years as a Process Engineer within Upstream O&G; Project (onshore) Languages: Italian, English Technical/IT Skills: Process simulation
