As part of our international R&D; team, you’ll contribute to the design and development of innovative products while helping drive continuous improvement across our existing portfolio. You’ll apply your expertise to electrical analysis, product optimization, quality enhancement, and manufacturing excellence, playing a key role in delivering reliable high-voltage technologies that support power transmission networks around the world.
Activities mainly contribute to the high voltage bushings design and product development. The role includes also tasks linked to technical continuous improvement of existing products with focus on material cost-out, design for manufacturing and standardization. Mandatory support for root cause analysis to improve product quality. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Supports the R&D; Manager in the preparation and development of the R&D; plan.
Performs electric and magnetic field advanced analysis
Performs basics thermal analysis




Participates in the development of new product and technology introduction and projects gate reviews
Contributes to development of technical standards for engineering and manufacturing procedures for production.
Participates in the International R&D; Team on specific projects and to International standard committees.
Supports the project of cost and Quality root cause analysis.
Uses some judgement and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
Education / Experience - Engineer University Degree – Electrical Engineering - Experience in the field of electrical engineering and in R&D; project management (not mandatory)
