Job Description: DXC Technology Italy is looking for Sr DevOps / Systems Engineer to join C&I; offering. Responsibilities Kubernetes Operations
- Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud).
- Manage cluster lifecycle: upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain cluster components such as ingress controllers, storage integrations, and networking plugins.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and adherence to best practices.

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Automate application deployment workflows and environment provisioning.
- Integrate testing, security scanning, and quality gates into pipelines.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Use Terraform, Helm, and related IaC tools to define and manage infrastructure.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash or Python.




- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure and configuration repositories.

Monitoring & Observability
- Deploy and manage monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager).
- Implement logging and metrics collection for cluster and application visibility.
- Perform root-cause analysis and optimize system performance.

Systems & Platform Support
- Manage Linux-based systems and container runtimes.
- Collaborate with development teams to support containerization and deployment best practices.
- Participate in on-site operational activities, troubleshooting, and incident response.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline design.
- Solid understanding of container technologies (Docker, containerd).
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows.
- Good scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such
