Description

Works under general supervision, applies engineering concepts to fault find and fix problems of minor/ intermediate complexity machine problems. First/ Second level PSC training completed.



Understands machine geography and show competence on utilization of technical manuals. Capable of performing planned maintenance in solo capacity. Some experience of radiation beam adjustments and key components.

The Engineer will be responsible for and servicing of all Elekta products within the area of responsibility.

This is a homebased role with a requirement to travel throughout the BU and Cluster as required and as directed by their line manager. Engineers are informed by the office in the BU or the appropriate line manager which work needs to be undertaken, engineers are then expected to work under their own initiative to complete the tasks appointed, if necessary, problems or issues are escalated to the BU office.

Activities include planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work, courtesy calls to local customers and telephone support either from the office in the BU or from a remote loca
