Role Profile * Position: Accountant/Finance Manager, Italy Services * Department: Group Finance * Location: Milan, Italy * Reports to: Europe Regional Finance Director * Salary Range: EURO 50,000.00 - 60,000.00 Purpose The Finance Manager will have full ownership of the Italy Services entity (c.15 employees), leading all financial, payroll, and statutory activities. This is a hands‐on role combining financial control, accounting, payroll coordination, and business partnering within a small, standalone entity environment. Responsibilities * Financial Control & Accounting o Maintain full ownership of the general ledger and accounting records o Record and analyse salaries,



including payroll postings and reconciliations o Manage fixed assets: capitalisation, movements, and monthly depreciation o Record purchase invoices, staff expenses, and ensure compliance with deductibility rules o Prepare and post accruals and deferrals (G&A; and other costs) o Manage bank postings, reconciliations, and transaction allocations * Payments & Cash Management o Oversee and process all payments including salaries, tax payments, pension funds, suppliers, VAT, corporate taxes, and other statutory payments o Act as secondary approver on banking platforms o Monitor cash flow and working capital * VAT, Tax & Statutory Compliance o Prepare and submit VAT returns and maintain VAT registers o Manage quarterly and annual tax declarations o Coordinate with external advisors (CPA, payroll consultant) o Ensure compliance with Italian statutory and tax requirements * Management Reporting & Planning o Prepare monthly manageme
