Continuous Improvement Specialist (Welding) This role focuses on highly technical welding environments including WPS development, fixturing design, automation and robotic welding systems, weld parameter optimization, and process capability improvements. The position ensures standardized welding processes, data integrity, and structured decision‐making systems are deployed and sustained throughout the facility while improving safety, quality,



and productivity. This role is located in Verona, VA and will be fully on-site. Responsibilities Lead continuous improvement initiatives within highly technical welding processes Identify and scope welding‐focused improvement opportunities that drive measurable gains in safety, weld quality, throughput, and cost reduction Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as TPM, Six Sigma, 5 S, 3 P, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping specifically within welding and fabrication environments Develop and implement standardized welding SOPs, visual work instructions, and process control documentation to ensure repeatability, compliance, and process stability. Track and report key welding performance metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), defect rates, arc‐on time, labor efficiency, consumable usage.
