The Rebuilding & Modernization Engineer works within the Customer Service Department and is responsible for rebuilding and modernization activities on automatic packaging machines installed at customer sites. The role aims to extend the lifecycle of the installed base by improving machine performance, reliability, safety, and technological level, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Analyze the technical condition of installed machines and define rebuilding and modernization solutions.
Develop and manage rebuilding interventions (mechanical, electrical, and software) to restore or enhance machine performance.
Execute modernization projects, including:
management of technological obsolescence
automation and HMI digital upgrades
Prepare and update technical documentation following rebuilding or modernization activities (manuals, drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs).
Provide technical support during execution, installation, testing, and commissioning phases, both remotely and on site.
