About the Opportunity

Our client is a large Chinese state-owned enterprise with an established industrial platform, strong supply-chain capabilities and extensive product resources in China.The company is now developing its business in Italy and is looking for a hands-on, commercially driven Sales Manager to build local customer relationships and generate new business.

The role will primarily focus on
light building materials and interior construction products
, including:
- Dry construction and partition systems;
- Insulation, fire-resistant and acoustic materials;
- Waterproofing products and construction chemicals;
- Interior finishing and decorative building materials;
- Fibreglass-based construction products;
- Artificial turf and related project materials.

The local business is still at an early stage, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape the local market and grow with the platform.

This is a home-based position, as the company does not currently have an office in Italy. Frequent customer visits and business travel are essential.





Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and sales opportunities across Italy;
- Build relationships with distributors, importers, contractors, installers and project clients;
- Visit customers regularly to understand their needs and introduce suitable products and solutions;
- Identify and develop local distributors and channel partners;
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quotation, negotiation and order follow-up;
- Deliver sales targets and maintain a healthy business pipeline;
- Collect market, pricing and competitor information;
- Coordinate with the China-based team on products, pricing, logistics and customer requirements;
- Support the company’s long-term market development in Italy。
