For a major global client in the semiconductor industry based in Catania, we are seeking a EDA Systems Engineer (Linux / Windows / SQL) who is passionate, motivated, and ready to lead at the heart of industrial innovation in Italy.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server infrastructures
- Develop and enhance automation scripts using Bash
- Manage and optimize Oracle and SQL databases (queries, performance tuning)
- Design and develop solutions using Java and/or Python (OOP principles)
- Support integration across enterprise systems and manufacturing platforms
- Troubleshoot system, application, and data issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation and operational processes
- Ensure high levels of system reliability, performance, and security





Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Strong experience in: Linux server administration Windows server administration Shell scripting (Bash)
- Solid knowledge of: Oracle / SQL
- Programming experience with: Java and/or Python (Object-Oriented Programming)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
