Operations Specialist - Freight Forwarding & Logistics Industry

Euro 30,000 – Euro 39,000 per annum
Job profile
A Japanese global freight forwarding company are looking for an Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Handle daily bookings and track import/export shipments across Sea, Air, and Road freight.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including B/L, AWB, and commercial invoices.
- Liaison: Negotiate rates and schedules with transport providers while providing real‑time status updates to clients.

Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on experience in Freight Forwarding operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
- Languages:



Fluency in Italian and English is essential. Japanese language skills are a strong plus.

Employment Conditions
- Working Hours: 08:30–17:30 (including 1‑hour lunch break); Monday only 1 hour less, that is 08:30–16:30.
- Holidays: In line with industry standards in Milan (the same as their employees at the Milan office).
- Work Arrangement: Full‑time, On‑site attendance required.
