AI Filmmaker / Generative Video Artist — Ophir Studio (Remote, Contract)

Role description

At Ophir Studio, working remotely, you will help conceive, design and produce generative video content as an AI Filmmaker / Generative Video Artist on a freelance collaboration contract.

Day-to-day work includes defining the visual concept, building storyboards, creating video sequences with AI tools, and experimenting with generative models to develop new visual languages.

You will own the creative workflow from ideation through to delivery, working alongside the creative team to bring together storytelling, direction and editing. You will also be responsible for optimising video files for different platforms, meeting project deadlines, and documenting creative processes so that results stay replicable and stylistically consistent.

Qualifications
- Solid skills in film direction and film production, with the ability to hold the overall creative vision and organise a virtual or hybrid set.
- Experience in video production and post-production, including editing, colour correction,



and the integration of AI-generated visual effects.
- Strong scriptwriting skills: developing clear narrative concepts, writing treatments, and adapting a script to what generative tools can realistically deliver.
- Preferred: a solid grounding in cinema and visual culture, the ability to collaborate in remote teams, and a good level of written and spoken English.

Tools

We don't expect fluency in all of these, we care that you know the current landscape and can pick the right tool for the shot. Familiarity with several of the following:
- Generative video:
Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Kling 3.0, Runway Gen-4.5, Seedance, Luma Ray3
- Image generation & keyframing:
Midjourney, FLUX, Nano Banana, Ideogram, Stable Diffusion
- Workflow & control:
ComfyUI (node graphs, LoRA training), Krea, Higgsfield, Freepik or similar multi-model platforms
- Audio:
ElevenLabs for voiceover, Suno or Udio for music and sound des
