Senior Backend Developer (.NET, SQL Server & SSIS)

This role requires a strong background in database management, ETL processes, and backend development using .NET.

The successful candidate will update and maintain SSIS packages, optimise database performance, and support data consumed by .NET APIs.

Experience with GCP is beneficial but not mandatory.

*Activities:*
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases to ensure high performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes, with appropriate validation, logging, and error handling
- Support updates to data processing workflows and data models




- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security best practices

*Requirements*
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on SQL and SSIS
- Expert in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, query optimization)
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS, including package development, automation, logging, and error handling
- Experience with .NET
- Experience testing SQL queries, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and .NET components, including unit, integration, and data validation testing
- Experience in designing and optimizing ETL workflows
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, Terraform, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance tuning and scalability.
