The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences is a large, collaborative and multi-disciplinary school in the Faculty of Science at the University of New South Wales with over 170 academic, research and professional staff. The School incorporates a broad range of disciplines, enabling comprehensive education and research in the broad fields of Earth Science, Environmental Science, Physical Geography, Climate Science,

The Senior Lecturer will contribute to high-quality research, teaching, and research student supervision in the field of palaeobiology, with a focus on understanding the behaviour, ecology, and evolution of extinct species through the fossil record.
This role will be expected to lead innovative research that integrates fieldwork, comparative anatomy, 3D imaging, and biomechanical modelling to uncover new fossil species and reconstruct their life histories
