Overview As a Key Account Manager for North-East Italy, you drive adoption of Oncotype DX within the regional healthcare landscape. You will design local account plans aligned with the national brand, engage diverse stakeholders including clinicians and procurement, and operate autonomously to maximize patient access. Your work supports Exact Sciences' mission to advance genomic testing in cancer care and differentiate our solutions in a competitive market. This role offers meaningful impact across Italy's public healthcare system.Responsibilities
- Pursue all agreed commercial objectives with the local Country Manager
- Engage oncology stakeholders in Italy, especially breast cancer specialists
- Provide logistical support to cancer centers for Oncotype DX ordering
- Maintain deep technical fluency in genomic testing and EXAS products
- Influence target physicians and influencers to drive patient access and utilization
- Develop account strategies to distinguish Oncotype DX from competitors
- Collaborate with sales management and marketing to align product messaging




- Provide internal feedback to national, regional, and area teams
- Attend sales meetings and professional conferences
- Travel within Italy 3-4 times per year and possibly attend international congresses
- Work with European Commercial team to ensure access to products

Qualifications
- 5 years of sales experience with premium medical/diagnostics products, preferably in oncology or breast cancer
- Experience with multiple National Health System stakeholders and reimbursement processes
- Strong knowledge of regional KOLs (oncologists, pathologists, procurement, decision-makers)
- Proven xrdztoy large territory and key account management skills
- Solid understanding of cancer care in the Italian public sector and clinical research/diagnostics familiarity
- Effective communication across all levels of the National Health System
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial
