Experteer Overview In this role, you will manage the Italian legal entity's finance and accounting within Avnet's South Europe Finance team in Milan. You'll support month‐end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash management while ensuring US GAAP alignment and internal controls. You'll interact with auditors, tax authorities, and cross‐functional partners to drive accurate records and process improvements. This is a hands‐on position offering autonomy, continuous learning, and impact across a multinational footprint. Responsibilities Monitor day‐to‐day financial operations of the company Oversee automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP Non‐trade accounts payables and prime entries Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and reconciliations Ensure accounting integrity and accurate transaction recording Cash management and reporting; support payment preparation Coordinate with tax authorities for audits and requests Maintain Fixed Assets ledger and financial records Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax laws,



and reporting timeliness Intercompany and bank reconciliations Support VAT returns and liaise with local tax/legal consultants Interact with auditors to resolve issues Maintain knowledge of accounting and finance practices Analyze new transactions with Local and US GAAP accounting treatment Continuous improvement of processes and controls; support ad hoc projects Enhance tools and processes Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics Minimum 5 years of experience in general or tax accounting Familiar with US GAAP Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations High attention to detail, reliability and curiosity Strong communication and problem solving skills Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP Fluent in English Background or motivation in digitalization initiatives Benefits and Opportunities Autonomy to innovate Grow and collaborate across network Diverse and ins
