Position Summary
We are looking for a candidate to join our team as an Electromechanical Assembler on a fixed-term contract.
Work is performed in well-lit, environmentally controlled area. Under general supervision assembles various electronic, electric, plastic and metal components using hand and automated equipment. Other duties are performed as defined by Supervisor.
Duties
Perform visual sorting or inspection of incoming raw materials and/or production assemblies as directed, to meet quality standards through production process.
Assemble components according to standard procedures, drawings, electrical schematics or different supervisor instructions if required.
Interact with other functions (Quality, Warehouse) in order to share information and/or fix problems when necessary.
Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fastening devices.
Performs hand soldering, wire cutting, stripping and pinning of cables, quality assurance testing on certain sub-assemblies and packaging of certain finished products.
Use hand drills, tools, automated tapers, crimper,



soldering iron.
Able to perform other tasks if required by supervisor.
Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
High school diploma required. 6 to 12 months related assembly experience desired.
General understanding of English (both spoken and written) is desired.
Must have general knowledge of basic assembly tools and their intended use.
Material handling (occasional heavy loads) according to EHS procedures and guidelines.
Able to work in a sitting or standing position and/or twist or turn the body continuously throughout the day.
Job requires repetitive movement of both hands continuously, six to eight hours daily.
Assembly of components requires good vision as well as color distinction.
