We create smart innovations to meet the mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. We design and manufacture a complete range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric buses and driverless trains, as well as infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility solutions. Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 75 000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.
This position follows a hybrid working model, combining remote work and on-site presence.
Aerodynamic and thermal-fluid-dynamic (AeroX) Engineer
-
- The AeroX Engineers participate in project/tender development through the application of engineering instructions, guidelines and established internal processes of the AeroX domain.
- They undertake Standard Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations within the frame of the projects using standard tools (STAR-CCM+, START, TransTun).
- In the expertise field, they undertake experimental activities on mock-up (wind tunnel, …) or on train.
- They develop advanced simulations methodologies requiring Train System approach covering large domains as Fluid Dynamics, Thermal, Fluid-structure interaction, aero-acoustics, numerical coupling.
- They undertake R&D; activities and contribute to the development of the discipline.
