Sr. Mgr. Modules Characterization & Product Engineer

In this position, you will in the R&D; team, part of the Power Modules Subdivision based in Borgaro Torinese (TO, Italy), reporting to the head of R&D; and Product Engineering of the Borgaro Design Center.

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.

What You Will Be Doing
- Managing the product engineering group, that is responsible for concepting, characterizing, releasing and managing all the power modules products from the electrical standpoint. Activities to be supervised, for which specific competence is needed, include:
- Elaborating target datasheets for new products, estimating the key performance data based on dice datasheets and package characteristics, using simulations if needed.
- Design the electrical part of the power module, specifying, selecting and evaluating the dice and other components to be integrated .
- Characterize the power module electrical performance, being able to perform all the measurements neede
