Summary:
Goldbelt Nisga’a Tek, LLC is seeking a Power Generator Mechanic to provide support for individual and collective training events performed within RTS-Med.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
Performs routine scheduled and non-scheduled services on a variety of military Power Generation and Distribution equipment Documents services and requests repair parts utilizing Army systems
Utilizes military and commercial Class A vehicles to transport equipment Operates 50,000lb forklift (KALMAR) to position, load, and off load material
Serves as a member of the spill response team
Provides training to staff and students on the operation and maintenance requirements of organic site Power Distribution and Illumination Systems (PDISE) equipment




Serves as a primary instructor on 2D/ 3D computer design software (ex: AutoDise) as it pertains to DEPMEDS and power generation set-up planning

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Proven experience collaborating with a team
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Minimum Qualifications:
Electrical Generator Systems Technician (EGST) Certified Journeyman at time of hiring or Two years recent experience as an Army Tactical Power Generation Specialist (91D) having served within unit-level operations or sister service or civilian equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have CDL within 180 days of hire Must maintain CDL for the duration of the contract Forklift certified or certified within 180 days of hire
Be capable of being certified on 50,000LB FORKLIFT (KALMAR) within 180 days of hir
