You will be part of our Process Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, contributing to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Scientist I, you will conduct research and development work in advanced facilities, focusing on critical areas like mRNA therapeutics, cell therapy, and viral vectors. You will perform hands-on laboratory experiments, analyze data,



and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and support technology transfer to manufacturing. This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and growth while contributing to life-changing therapies for patients.
Bachelor’s Degree required, no prior experience required in process development or manufacturing
Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related scientific field
Strong aseptic technique and experience with cell culture, molecular biology techniques
Experience with analytical methods and equipment (HPLC, spectrophotometry, PCR)
Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific documentation
Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Experience with technology transfer and process scale-up preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
