/h3pWe are looking for a Legal Counsel (Retail Expansion) to join an international and dynamic legal department.
The ideal profile will support the Legal Team locally and collaborate with legal teams worldwide.
The new role will start in September **** and will report directly to the General Manager and the General Counsel (Matrix Manager).
It requires a motivated, relationship?driven problem solver who can provide clear, timely, and practical counsel on civil, business, and commercial law to the company and LPP Capital Group.
/ph3Your role /h3ulliProvide legal support for drafting, negotiating, and supervising commercial lease agreements for the company's stores.
This includes negotiations with landlords and tenants, liaison with shopping?centre managers, legal support in construction and fitting?out processes, and participation in dispute resolution.
/liliManage multiple lease projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring accurate legal analysis and attention to detail.
/liliTranslate lease agreements from Italian to English, and conduct negotiations in bilingual format, delivering mark?ups in both languages.
/liliDraft contracts and other legal documents (statements, powers of attorney, constitutional acts, internal decisions, addresses, notifications, and other communications) required by the company.
/liliMaintain contact with public authorities and institutions.
/liliAdvise management and company personnel on a range of commercial matters, including lease matters.
/liliSupervise external legal counsel and assess their deliverables.




/liliCollaborate with internal legal and business colleagues on corporate initiatives.
/liliPrepare legal opinions on the company's activities.
/liliRespond to communications received by the company – preparing legal responses.
/liliDraft, analyze, and legalize commercial contracts following internal procedures and applicable legislation.
/liliVerify and approve the legality of contracts, conventions, agreements, and protocols concluded by the company.
/liliReview and revise existing company contracts as needed, ensuring compliance with contracting processes and legal provisions.
Participate in contract negotiations.
/liliManage relationships with contract partners and monitor compliance with legal and contractual obligations, reporting issues that could impact company activity.
/liliStay updated on legislative changes and inform company departments accordingly.
/li /ulh3Your profile /h3ulliMaster's degree in Law with proficiency in civil, business, and tax law.
/liliMinimum five years of experience in in?house or legal firm practice, with at least one year working for an international company or clients.
/liliProven experience negotiating lease agreements for shopping centres/retail.




/liliFluency in English (legal and business).
/liliExcellent oral and written communication skills.
/liliStrong knowledge of legal practices and experience drafting documents.
/liliKnowledge of general corporate transactional law.
/liliKnowledge of contract development.
/liliStrong negotiation, prioritization, and organizational skills.
/liliAbility to work within deadlines.
/liliIntegrity and professional ethics.
/liliAttorneys' certificate is an additional plus.
/liliAdvanced PC skills (MS Office).
