ph3Position Overview /h3pThe BESS Delivery Service Engineer (Utility Scale) is responsible for the execution and lifecycle support of large-scale battery energy storage projects after the project is secured by the sales and presales teams.The role manages the technical delivery, commissioning, and operational maintenance support of utility-scale BESS projects, working closely with EPC contractors, grid operators, and project stakeholders.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3olliProject Handover from Sales / PresalesTake over BESS projects from the sales and presales teams after contract signing.Review technical proposals, system configurations, and service scope.Confirm system design and project requirements with internal teams and customers including: System design, Grid requirements, Performance guarantees, Project schedules,etcEnsure project milestones are achieved according to schedule and budget.
/liliProject Commissioning Planning and ExecutionManage the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale BESS projects.Coordinate with EPC contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers.
Guide EPC for the equipment unloading, installation etc.Ensure compliance with technical specifications, grid requirements, and safety standards.
/liliCommissioning Grid IntegrationDevelop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for BESS projects.Conduct commissioning for battery racks, BMS (Battery Management System), PCS (Power Conversion System), EMS (Energy Management System) and MV transformer.Validate integration of electrical, control,



and communication systems.Conduct grid compliance and performance verification testsWork with grid operators and technical partners to complete system integration and SAT.Work with technical support teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning.Ensure successful handover to operations.
/liliOperations Maintenance Service ManagementProvide OM; service after Commercial Operation Date (COD).
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS/PCS/EMSPerform remote operations to support maintenance and fault resolutionConduct site inspections, diagnostics, and testing using specialist equipmentEnsure strict compliance with Health Safety standards and HSE regulations in related countriesSupervise subcontractors and ensure quality and compliance of third-party worksSupport commissioning, upgrades, and major repairsReview technical documentation and contribute to maintenance procedures, RAMS, and method statementsLiaise with OEMs and suppliers on maintenance processes and technical clarificationsSupport annual maintenance planning for BESS assetsProvide OM; Training to customer OM team and subcontractor /li /olh3Qualifications /h3ulliDegree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, or related field.
/lili2–5 years' experience in utility-scale renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
/liliNecessary Certifications to work on site /liliExperience with large-scale BESS, solar + storage, or grid infrastructure preferred.
