ppThe Product Lead Engineer will provide complete technical ownership of the development of Methode's product.
They will support/lead both customer-facing and Methode facing activities.
They will be responsible for all the product technical deliverables to the programs.
They will work with all facets of the organization to ensure the successful development and launch of the product to meet the customer requirements.
/ph3Duties Responsibilities: /h3ulliLead all elements of the product development for Methode's products including BOM, 2D/3D activities, FMEA development, ADV Plan, VA/VE activities, etc.
/liliDevelop the product technical solution for Methode's customers /liliLead DFM activity with manufacturing engineering ensuring a manufacturable system /liliLead BOM development during the RFQ phase.
/liliDraft Technical Presentations to support quotations for the Sales team.
/liliAssisting the Management Team and provide support as necessary.
/liliSupport manufacturing plant activities including pre-production builds, PFMEA, PPAP, Quality Engineering, change management,



etc /liliHandle and delegate administrative tasks required by this post /liliWork within Environmental and Health Safety requirements procedures.
/liliWork within Quality Management System requirements and procedures including Certification and Customer requirements.
/liliBachelor's degree in engineering, or related technical field, or at least 5 years work experience in Product Development and the automotive industry, combined with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in Middle Management.
/liliOral and written skills, strong interpersonal skills and superior organizational abilities.
/liliAbility to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment is essential.
/liliAbility to be flexible and multitasking.
