/p h3Mission /h3 pThe Cybersecurity Assessment Testing Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, testing, and optimizing cybersecurity technologies and defenses across IT and OT environments.
This role bridges the gap between security engineering, threat simulation, and operations enablement—combining deep technical expertise, system integration skills, and offensive security knowledge to ensure that organizations build, validate, and maintain effective cyber resilience.
/p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 pbCybersecurity Solution Integration Automation /b /p ul liDesign, deploy, and optimize cybersecurity platforms (e.g., SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, endpoint protection).
/li liImplement automation workflows and integrations using APIs and scripting to enhance operational efficiency.
/li liExtend product capabilities through custom development aligned with client and organizational needs.
/li /ul pbPenetration Testing Adversary Simulation /b /p ul liConduct penetration testing and red?team engagements across network, application, cloud, and OT environments.
/li liSimulate real?world attack scenarios—phishing, malware delivery, privilege escalation—to evaluate detection and response capabilities.
/li liProvide remediation guidance based on realistic adversary behavior.
/li /ul pbVulnerability Configuration Assessment /b /p ul liPerform vulnerability and configuration assessments across IT and industrial infrastructures.
/li liIdentify weaknesses in system architecture, misconfigurations, or insecure interfaces, and develop prioritized mitigation plans linked to business risk.
/li /ul pbIndustrial Network Security Visibility /b /p ul liAssess security and monitoring capabilities within OT and industrial control systems (SCADA, PLCs, IIoT).




/li liDeploy or leverage network visibility tools to identify insecure protocols and lateral movement paths.
/li liSupport improved segmentation, monitoring, and hardening of critical environments in accordance with IEC ***** standards.
/li /ul pbSecurity Hardening Infrastructure Engineering /b /p ul liSupport operating system and infrastructure hardening, patch management, and endpoint control implementation.
/li liEnsure that deployed platforms are securely integrated within hybrid and on?premises architectures.
/li /ul pbReporting, Advisory Awareness Enablement /b /p ul liDevelop clear and actionable reports describing vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and resolution strategies.

/li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSolid understanding of cybersecurity technologies, architectures, and security operations platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, EDR/XDR).
/li liHands?on experience (About 5 years) in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and red?team methodologies.
/li liProficiency in system integration and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, API orchestration).
/li liKnowledge of industrial/OT cybersecurity standards (IEC *****) and best practices for critical infrastructure.
/li liStrong analytical, troubleshooting,



and problem?solving skills.
/li liExcellent communication skills in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

/li /ul h3Compensation Data /h3 pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role?related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480).
/p pThe gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€35,000 and €45,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
