ppYou will join the Calibration team with the objective of ensuring the reliability, quality, and metrological consistency of laboratory instruments and systems.
/p pYour role will be focused on process development, technical support, and continuous improvement, with a lower level of direct involvement in calibration activities compared to a dedicated technical specialist role.
/p h3Instrumentation and Automation /h3 ul lipDevelop, implement, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, and test fixtures.
/p /li lipSupport the installation, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of laboratory systems and infrastructure.
/p /li lipIdentify automation opportunities to increase the efficiency, quality, and safety of testing activities.
/p /li lipProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to internal users.
/p /li lipCollaborate with global teams to ensure standardization, scalability, and consistency of laboratory solutions.
/p /li /ul h3Calibration and Metrology /h3 ul lipPlan and oversee calibration and maintenance activities for laboratory instrumentation.
/p /li lipDefine technical requirements, acceptance criteria, calibration intervals, and measurement uncertainties.
/p /li lipReview, approve, and issue calibration certificates in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
/p /li lipManage and qualify calibration services provided by external partners.
/p /li /ul h3Technical Documentation /h3 ul lipPrepare and update procedures, work instructions, manuals, and technical documentation.
/p /li lipSupport the development and validation of test methods and calibration procedures.
/p /li lipEnsure compliance with quality, safety, accreditation requirements, and company standards.
/p /li /ul h3Laboratory Operations Management /h3 ul lipCoordinate laboratory investment projects, managing technical aspects, suppliers, budgets, and timelines.




/p /li lipContribute to activity planning and continuous process improvement through Lean methodologies and operational best practices.
/p /li lipEnsure compliance with UL Standards of Business Conduct and physical and digital security practices.
/p /li lipBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline).
/p /li lipProven experience in calibration, metrology, automation, or laboratory instrumentation management.
/p /li lipStrong knowledge of measurement instruments, metrology principles, and measurement uncertainty.
/p /li lipExperience with automated test systems and equipment used in testing and certification laboratories.
/p /li lipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma).
/p /li lipExperience in project management and working collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
/p /li lipAbility to coach and provide technical support to colleagues and stakeholders.
/p /li lipExcellent communication skills, customer orientation, and a collaborative team-working approach.
/p /li lipAbility to adapt to dynamic environments and make effective decisions, even in complex situations.
/p /li lipGood command of the English language, both written and spoken.
/p /li /ul h3What we offer: /h3 ul lipThe annual salary range for this position in Italy is EUR 38,********,800 gross, determined by numerous factors, including knowledge, skills, and experience.
