ph3ABOUT THE ROLE /h3pProfessionLX specializes in professional services where we engage our employees to empower them to excel for our customers. We are currently seeking a full-time Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Prevention Education Coordinator to join our team in support of Army Community Service (ACS), U.S. Army Garrison Italy at Camp Darby, Italy. /ppThis position provides prevention education, training, community outreach, and program coordination in support of the Family Advocacy Program. The successful candidate will deliver educational classes and briefings, support child abuse and domestic violence prevention initiatives, coordinate community outreach and FAP events, maintain program records and training data, and assist with marketing and administrative activities. /ppSuccessful candidates will possess a relevant bachelor's degree and experience in family and children's services, community programs, and family violence prevention. Strong teaching, communication, interviewing, and program coordination skills are essential. bU.S. citizenship and eligibility to successfully complete all required background and suitability checks are required. /b /ph3WHAT YOU WILL DO /h3pYou will support the Family Advocacy Program by delivering prevention education, briefings, and classes focused on topics such as child abuse prevention, domestic violence awareness, teen dating violence, stress and anger management, positive parenting, healthy relationships, and couple communication. You will also support annual training requirements for military units, command teams, professional organizations, schools,



and other members of the Camp Darby community. /ppYou will coordinate and participate in community outreach activities, special events, awareness campaigns, and other Family Advocacy initiatives. This includes supporting event planning, maintaining approved educational and promotional materials, coordinating program marketing, and helping ensure the wider military community is aware of available FAP services and resources. /ppYou will maintain program records, training logs, attendance records, unit information, and required data within Government systems. You will coordinate training schedules, track completion of mandatory training, prepare supporting documentation and recurring reports, and assist with committee meetings, agendas, meeting minutes, and other administrative requirements. /ppYou will work closely with the Family Advocacy Program Manager and other ACS and community partners to coordinate services, referrals, educational activities, and program requirements. The role also carries mandated reporting responsibilities for suspected child abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence in accordance with applicable Army policies. This is a non-clinical position and does not provide counseling services.
