/p pFor our bData Center Design Engineering Team /b supporting the South Zone, we are seeking a bSpain Italy-based Data Center Design Manager (Electrical) /b , reporting into the bEMEA Director of Engineering - DC Segment /b - You will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of innovative data center solutions.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in data center design and a passion for driving innovation.
/p h3What you'll do: /h3 pReporting into the bEMEA Director of Engineering - DC Segment /b , the bData Centre Electrical Design Manager /b will be responsible for bmanaging the design, development, and implementation of innovative data centre solutions /b .

/p pThis role requires binfluential technical leader /b who can drive design innovation, managing engineering teams, lead continuous improvement to enable the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable data centre solutions.
/p pIt offers a deep level of engineering support and direction relating to the design, build and operation of large Data Centres.
Principally, this relates to the electrical infrastructure, but extends into the overall operational technology found in the Data Centre environment.
/p pThe role requires bexpertise within electromechanical systems /b such a cooling,



building management systems, energy management systems.
It also requires a full appreciation of various building construction technologies and challenges.
It also requires experience in the project management and supervision of build projects and the delivery of the various product technologies services required in the Data Centre environment.
/p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul lipAct as Design Manager on data centre projects, leading the electrical design scope from concept, through detailed design, to construction support and closeout.
/p /li lipRemain hands on in electrical design, providing technical leadership and ownership of critical design aspects for mission critical facilities.
/p /li lipLead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs as part of a multidisciplinary design team on both large and small projects.
/p /li lipManage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality across assigned projects.
/p /li lipProvide expert technical guidance and mentoring to the DC Design Engineering team.
/p /li lipDevelop, implement, and uphold electrical design quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
/p /li lipReview and approve electrical designs, calculations, reports, and specifications, undertaking and facilitating formal peer reviews.
/p /li lipAct as a client facing technical lead, attending and contributing to client, contractor, and Eaton internal meetings.
/p /li lipLead project teams during value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision making stages.
/p /li lipParticipate in and lead project site visits to monitor, review, and resolve electrical installation and commissioning matters.
/p /li lipCollaborate with project management, commercial, and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
/p /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul lipBSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering.
A Master's degree is preferred.
/p /li lip8-10 Years of Experience.
/p /li /ul h3Skills:



/h3 pProven experience delivering the bfull suite of electrical engineering services for mission critical facilities /b , including (but not limited to): /p ul lipMV and LV power distribution; /p /li lipTransformers; /p /li lipUPS and standby generation systems.
/p /li lipStrong knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and accepted industry best practices.
/p /li lipExperience undertaking value engineering and integrating new technologies to deliver cost effective, resilient client solutions.
/p /li lipWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous, but not essential.
/p /li lipFluent bSpanish and/or Italian English required /b .
/p /li lipFamiliarity with emerging technologies such as edge computing and AI.
/p /li lipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
/p /li lipAbility to think strategically and drive long-term innovation.
/p /li lipProven experience in building teams and supporting processes.
