The Manufacturing
Engineer supports the assembly manufacturing area in achieving operational excellence targets through process improvement, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role collaborates with multiple functions to support new product introductions, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting activities, and the implementation of manufacturing best practices, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is part of the Plant Manufacturing Team.Support one of the plant assembly departments in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets within Production Line.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products and the implementation of process changes in the manufacturing area.Support the implementation of quality systems within the workshop.Explore new ideas and technologies to evaluate opportunities for improving processes, enhancing quality, and reducing costs.Back UP role for Product Lifecycle Management activities, including the implementation of APD (Accelerated Product Development) and CQP (Change Qualification Process) methodologies, ensuring successful product launches and compliance with quality standards.Collaborate with several plant departments, including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Sales,
and Production.Support machine revamping and continuous improvement projects across the plant.Support diagnostic activities, troubleshooting, and minor modifications of PLC programs across manufacturing equipment and automation systems.Collaborate with external suppliers and technical partners to support complex troubleshooting activities, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.Travel: Up to 10%, if requiredMinimum QualificationsUniversity degree in one of the following fields:Automation EngineeringElectronics EngineeringMechanical Engineering with a specialization in Industrial AutomationBasic knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.Basic knowledge of Siemens automation platforms, including SIMATIC S7 PLCs and the TIA Portal engineering environment.Basic understanding of industrial automation systems, sensors, actuators, drives, and industrial communication networks.Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and international teams.Hiring decisions for such positions are required by law to be made in compliance with these regulations. com email address.
