ppAs a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of embedded firmware for microcontroller-based applications supporting sensing and control functions in cutting-edge e-mobility solutions.
You will contribute to the definition of firmware architectures, ensure reliable hardware-software integration, and support the development of safety-oriented products.
/p h3YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller and programmable logic applications, primarily in C /li liDefine firmware architectures and support board commissioning activities for new hardware platforms /li liDevelop low-level drivers and firmware modules for MCU peripherals, including ADCs, GPIOs, Timers, and communication interfaces such as CAN, I2C, and SPI /li liDevelop, integrate, and maintain system and application software /li liEnsure robust hardware-software integration throughout the entire development lifecycle /li liPerform software testing, debugging, and validation in both target and test environments /li liContribute to functional safety-related activities, including architecture and design documentation, code reviews, and test specification definition /li liEnsure compliance with relevant industry norms and standards, supporting upcoming functional safety applications /li liTroubleshoot field issues and conduct root-cause analyses to ensure product reliability /li liCollaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution /li /ul h3YOUR QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, or a related field /li liSeveral years of professional experience in embedded software development on ARM-based microcontrollers /li liExcellent knowledge of C and C++, with good knowledge of VHDL /li liSolid experience with MCU peripherals such as ADCs, GPIOs, Timers, and communication protocols including CAN, I2C, and SPI /li liExperience with on-chip debugging and tracing toolsKnowledge of functional safety standards such as IEC *****, ISO *****, or similar is considered an advantage /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIndependent, structured, and solution-oriented working style /li liExcellent communication and teamwork skills /li liFluent in English; as well as in German and/or Italian /li /ul h3OUR COMMITMENT /h3 ul liInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic team /li liHigh-tech projects in the future-proof sector of e-mobility /li liOpportunities for advancement in a growing company /li liA wide range of further training opportunities /li liTotal compensation starting from € 74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable premio based on goal achievement /li liAdditional company benefits /li /ul pThe compensation indicated represents the total compensation for this role.
