Together with you, we can create the right conditions for a brighter future. /ppWith the launch of our new production facility in Bari, Midsummer Italia is now strengthening the team with a Service Technician specializing in automation and control systems who wants to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and advanced manufacturing. /ppAre you passionate about technology and innovation? /ph3Job description /h3pYour primary responsibility will be to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment. You will be the first responder to machine breakdown and problems occurring within the production. You will work with different types of machines but will specialize in Midsummer produced equipment, like the Duo tool. You will handle different control systems and PLC's when it comes to troubleshooting, installation and maintenance but mostly Beckhoff. The service technician with a specialization in control systems and automation will work closely with engineers and other departments to implement and test improvements to the production process. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDiagnose issues within the production and provide a plan of action on how to approach the issue. /liliRespond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages.
/liliTroubleshoot different bus communications, like PROFIBUS, EtherCAT and ASi safety. /liliInstall software, take backups, manage backups and restore backups for different control systems, in particular Beckhoff. /liliReplace faulty equipment such as PLCs/IPCs, computers, network switches, sensors and actuators. /liliConnect to different control systems, PLC’s, smart actuators and sensors to change settings and make adjustments. /liliControl and troubleshoot robots from ABB and Kuka. /liliCoordinate with external suppliers and technical support when advanced troubleshooting is required. /liliInstallation and commissioning of machines and equipment. /liliUndertake special projects as required. /liliCollaborate with Process Engineers to evaluate equipment performance and recommend repairs, upgrades or replacements. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent vocational training and relevant work experience. /liliSolid troubleshooting skills in industrial machinery, PLCs and automation systems. /liliProfessional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken. /liliUnderstand engineering and technical information. /liliProactive, flexible and takes responsibility to finish a task. /liliYou can work both independently and in a group. /liliBe able to travel to Sweden for training. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience with Beckhoff PLCs and TwinCAT. /liliKnowledge of EtherCAT, ASi Safety and ASIMON. /liliBasic industrial networking and IT troubleshooting skills. /li /ulh3We offer /h3ulliPossibility to quickly grow professionally and to work in a fast-growing industry with a high potential for the future. /liliA stimulating working environment /li /ulpRAL: 30-31K /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
