This position plays a critical role in expanding Scanlan's Cardiovascular (CV), Non-CV, and Surgeon Preference product portfolios through distributor partnerships, product evaluations, training, and customer engagement. /ppThis position will work closely with a dedicated Scanlan Sales Director located in north-eastern Italy, who will provide day-to-day work direction, territory priorities, and strategic sales support. /ph3Location Requirement /h3pTo support frequent international travel and customer engagement, the ideal candidate will be based bnear Venice, Milan or Rome. /b /ph3What You'll Do /h3h3Drive Sales Growth and Market Development /h3ulliAchieve territory sales goals and objectives aligned with regional and international sales plans. /liliIdentify opportunities to expand Scanlan's presence within hospitals, health systems, and distributor networks. /liliPromote the value of premium-quality surgical instruments and solutions through a consultative sales approach. /liliDevelop strong relationships with surgeons, operating room teams, distributors, and healthcare stakeholders. /liliParticipate in business planning, forecasting, and sales strategy initiatives. /liliSubmit timely and accurate sales reports, activity reports, expense reports, and project updates. /liliSupport order management activities, including backorders, returns,
and delivery coordination when required. /li /ulh3Partner with Distributors and Support Clinical Adoption /h3ulliWork collaboratively with Scanlan Sales Directors, Regional Managers, and Distributor Representatives to grow sales across multiple product categories, including Cardiovascular (CV) Instrumentation, General Surgical Instrumentation, Neurosurgical Products, Urology Products, Plastic Surgery Products, and Surgeon Preference Disposable Products /liliConduct product evaluations and support customers during clinical trials and demonstrations. /liliDeliver product training and education to distributor representatives and clinical users. /liliAssist with onboarding and development of distributor sales teams to strengthen product knowledge and selling effectiveness. /liliAttend and support regional and international surgical congresses, educational meetings, and trade shows. /liliCoordinate territory activities with distributor partners to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and account coverage. /li /ulh3Travel Requirements /h3pThis is a highly field-based position requiring b60-70% travel /b throughout Southern Europe. /ppTravel will primarily support customers and distributor partners across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Romania. Additional travel throughout Europe may be required based on business needs. /ph3What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications /h3h3Education /h3ulliBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. /li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliExperience working in a sales, clinical, healthcare, medical device, or distributor-facing role.
