Job Summary

The job holder is to drive business results through effective testing. This includes managing the UAT process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure that software applications meet the necessary requirements and quality standards. The job holder will play a critical role in facilitating daily testing operations, contributing to the development and enhancement of software solutions.

Major Tasks

- Develop and maintain resources such as UAT environments and ancillary tools to facilitate effective user acceptance testing.

- Interpret user requirements and comprehend system documentation related to new business features and enhancements.

- Define test strategies and objectives, and review or approve appropriate test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Execute user acceptance testing to validate that enhancements meet user requirements and are suitable for business operations.

- Monitor and report on the progress of UAT activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project timelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams,



including project managers and development teams, to align testing efforts with stakeholder needs.

- Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

- Provide guidance and support for team development, fostering skills and knowledge related to UAT best practices.

- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legal requirements, protecting the integrity of operations.

- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline is required.

Qualifications

- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is advantageous.

Experience

- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in testing, analysis, programming, or IT project management.

- Strong experience in system testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies.
