/strong /em /ph3 /h3pFor the IMA SpA Testing Department, we are looking for astrong Mechanical Workshop Test Technician /strong.brThe Testing Department centrally supports the Group by carrying out the testing and inspection of manufactured mechanical components destined for both internal customers (Division Assembly Departments) and external customers.
/ph3bThe Role /b /h3ulliAssess the accuracy and efficiency of mechanical component manufacturing processes, identifying and managing any non-conformities and returns in collaboration with the Engineering Department.
/liliEvaluate heat treatment and surface finishing processes, ensuring compliance with functional requirements and any applicable industry regulations and standards.
/liliWork closely with the Engineering and Industrialization Departments to optimize and fine-tune manufacturing processes.
/liliUse3D measurement and inspection equipment to perform dimensional surveys and quality checks on mechanical components.
/liliManage the calibration and control equipment used within the Testing, Assembly, and Workshop Departments, including monitoring calibration due dates,
coordinating collection and shipment to accredited bodies, and handling the return and redistribution of instruments.
/li /ulh3bExperience Skills /b /h3ulliTechnical Diploma inMechanical Engineering or a related mechanical field.
/liliApproximately 10 years of experience in similar roles, ideally within testing/inspection departments or mechanical workshop environments.
/liliExcellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
/li /ulh3bWhat Will Set You Apart /b /h3ulliStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
/liliCertification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies is considered an asset.
/liliPrevious experience using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other CNC-based 3D inspection systems.
/liliGood working knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
/li /ulh3bCompensation Package /b /h3pThe starting gross annual salary (RAL) will be €33,000, under the provisions of the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry.
/ppA higher compensation package may be offered based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
