ph3Your Role /h3pWe are looking for a Procurement Specialist, within the Purchasing department, who will report to the Global Procurement Manager at the bCastelgomberto /b plant.
In this role, you will be responsible to grant the availability on time and in full of materials and packs used in the Castelgomberto plant.
/ph3What you will do /h3ulliPlan and coordinate the supply of materials and packs with different suppliers to cover requested productions according to MRP and consumptions, and considering the specific factors of every supplier.
/liliDaily follow up production and sourcing plan to ensure right stock and service level.
/liliDetect and prevent supply risks to minimize these with proper actions on time to avoid shortages in the plant.
/liliControl and optimize stocks according to the production needs plan and avoid overstocks, obsolescence and supply gaps.
/liliEvaluation of capacity following deliveries and requested needs.
Also, considering contract levels negotiated by buyers.
/liliCoordination and collaboration with Scheduling and Production planning teams to follow up productions plans and risk assessments.
/liliManage proper set ups in the system to ensure an efficient and optimal sourcing plan.
And place the PO's in the system according to the alignments with suppliers.
/liliSupervise and validate invoices not automatically approved by the system due to price/quantity differences.




And manage indirect Purchase Orders in order to authorize differences driven by specific costs.
/liliIn collaboration with the team, identify and implement new initiatives on processes and tools to continuous improving and growing.
/liliAssure a collaborative approach and fluid communication with the team, suppliers and the different departments involved in daily tasks (Purchasing, SalesOp, Production Planning, Logistics, Formulation, Quality...).
/li /ulh3What we are looking for /h3ulliProven experience of two years in Procurement/Planning/Logistics.
Experience in the petfood, food or FMCG industry is highly valuable.
/liliKnowledge of Planning principles: Stock level, coverage, order point, lead time /liliUniversity degree.
Specific courses on Procurement / Planning / Logistics appreciated.
/liliFluent in Italian and English.
/liliExperience working with SAP and good level in Excel.
