The team operates with a startup-level engineering culture embedded within a global enterprise, shipping high-quality products at speed.We are looking for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Engineer — someone who can architect and own entire product verticals across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.From the ideal candidate is expected a very high skill floor across the entire stack, strong system design capability, and the kind of proactivity that drives a product forward without waiting for direction.He/She will own full product verticals from data model to API to UI, shipping production-grade features end-to-end, while architecting distributed systems that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable — with hands-on accountability for the outcome.This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to have a disproportionate impact on a product that matters, inside one of Europe's largest insurance groups.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement backend services in Python (FastAPI), including data models, business logic, and integrations with AWS infrastructureBuild and maintain React frontends with Tailwind CSS, ensuring quality, performance, and usabilityLead system design decisions: define service boundaries, API contracts, data flows, and infrastructure topologyIntegrate AI and agentic components into the platform, leveraging tools like Claude Code to accelerate development velocityProactively surface technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive resolution — operating with a founder-level sense of ownershipProactively surface technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive resolution — operating with a founder-level sense of ownershipRequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or equivalent demonstrable expertise6+ years of full stack engineering experience with genuine depth across backend and frontend — not just surface familiarityStrong Python backend skills: REST API design, async patterns, ORM, testing, and production operationsSolid React and TypeScript proficiency with Tailwind CSS; ability to own the frontend stack independentlyAWS fluency: Lambda, ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, SQS, CloudFront — comfortable with IaC (Terraform or CDK)Experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) is a strong plus — familiarity with AI-native development workflows highly valuedItalian C2 plus English at least B2 proficiencyExtreme ownership and proactivity: identifies problems before they escape and drives solutions to completionEngineering rigor: strong opinions on code quality, testing, observability, and documentationWhat we offerWe offer employment in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.Gross annual salary ranging between 43K€ and 50K€.
