Your Responsibilities:

- Coordinates a team of 4/5 data scientists which main goal is to develop Machine Learning based projects.
- Coordinates external engineering companies supporting the team in projects development.
- Defines the team workload and prioritize projects and related activated according to the company needs.
- Supports AI Lab Manager in collecting new projects from stakeholders.
- Supports the team in defining projects feasibility study and the related time and cost estimation.
- Supports the team in defining the technical guidelines on the project contents and lead the different project development phases (concept definition, concept selection and design)
- Work with the team in the creation of a detailed development and validation plan methodology and coordinate with the other involved teams the activity prioritization.
- Support the Business functions in identifying the Uses Cases and the Project KPI’s
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define best software architecture and infrastructure based on application requirements.
- Support AI lab Manager and Budget and Planning function in creating the yearly team budget.

Your Profile:

Essential:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in Machine Learning projects launched in production.
- Bachelor-master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative fields
- Good knowledge of Software Architecture and Data Pipelines
- Deep knowledge of the SOTA ML libraries e.g. sklearn, PyTorch, Tensorflow,…
- Experience in modern software development and deployment
- Excellent programming skills on the following languages:




- Python
- Matlab
- C/C++
- Experience with cloud environments e.g. AWS / Azure
- Good Knowledge of software integration in different environments (Windows, Linux)
- Good inter-personal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Preferable:

- It’s considered a plus the knowledge of the following ones:
- Scala
- Experience within the automotive industry – 3 years minimum
- PhD in Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Good knowledge of multivariate Statistics principles
- SW Development with AGILE/SAFE approach

Salary Information:

- Applied contract: CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro
- Grade: 1° Gruppo Qualificato
- Salary Range: Euro 60.000 - 70.000 (anual)
- Variable payment as per CCSL
