We are seeking two seasonal Butlers for a beachfront villa in Sardinia, working from April through October. The villa functions as a weekly‑turnover rental property hosting families, retreats, business groups, and occasional weddings. The Butler is responsible for delivering consistent guest service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, maintaining daily contact with guests, and ensuring their needs, requests, and logistical arrangements are handled promptly.

Service ranges from relaxed family‑style meals to higher‑level service for luxury clients, with occasional plated service and the expectation that the Butler understands elevated service standards when required.

The position requires flexibility to support additional villas owned by the same company, including assisting with events, weddings, or catering at other properties. Staff may rotate between villas depending on operational needs. The Butler must be able to work within a larger team that includes multiple butlers, servers, chefs, concierge staff, cleaners, and gardening/maintenance personnel. Only citizens of the European Union will be considered.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Serve as primary guest contact and ensure attentive, anticipatory service.
- Manage daily service operations across all meals with villa staff.
- Oversee table management, service styles, etiquette, and special celebrations.
- Apply proper etiquette and protocol in all guest-facing duties.
- Assist with basic cleaning, errands, and maintaining common areas.
- Support grocery shopping, provisioning, and household inventory.
- Drive guests and run errands using manual and automatic vehicles.
- Handle laundry, wardrobe care, valeting,



and suitcase packing.
- Prepare and serve meals as required and manage beverage service and inventory.
- Assist with events, concierge tasks, and support additional family properties.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

- Knowledge of working with high‑profile or UHNW clients.
- Strong discretion, professionalism, and service‑oriented demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in English and working knowledge of Italian.
- Excellent communication skills and confident guest interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.
- Knowledge of table service, etiquette, wine service, and formal/informal service styles.
- Familiarity with wardrobe care, fine fabrics, ironing, pressing, and dry‑cleaning coordination.

• Only citizens of the European Union will be considered. A valid European passport without restrictions is required.

Reporting Structure The Butler reports to the Villa Manager. The Butler works within a larger team that includes other butlers, servers, chefs, concierge staff, cleaners, and the gardening/maintenance team.

- Gross monthly salary of €3,000–€3,500 with potential guest gratuities.
