Your Purpose

The Purchasing Agent Explora Journeys manages the ordering process, providing business support to the Explora Journeys ship operations in terms of Supply Chain for F&B; and Hotel materials.

Your Impact

- Ensure the creation of Purchase Order respecting deadline
- Relation with suppliers and web ordering management and Perform expediting activities
- Search goods from secondary suppliers or port in collaboration with the category buyer and operations in case of exceptional needs
- Grant full visibility on order status and Highlight potential disruption on supply chain
- Leveraging excel tools, ensure correct warehouse inventory level preventing dead stock or perishability and optimizing storage & reducing spending
- Manage and close discrepancy and grant all invoices ready to be paid
- Support the fleet for loading operation issues with products delivery
- Continuous interaction with the different stakeholders to monitor and increase the supply chain activities and efficiency: products availability, suppliers and goods issues.

Your Journey so far

- Previous working experience in the role
- University Degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience.

Your Essentials

- Good understanding of supply chain activities and best practices
- Fluent English and Italian, any additional language is an advantage
- MS Office with special focus on excel and Power BI is highly requested
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up
- Legal right to work in Italy

In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, we are pleased to share the compensation details for this role. The role is entitled to a gross annual salary between € 23.000 and € 31.000. The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level under the applicable CCNL, will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.

The employment relationship will be governed by the CCNL Commercio (National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Commerce Sector).
