Operations Specialist

The company is an international freight forwarding company seeking an Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Genoa, Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional looking to play a key role in managing international shipments and delivering excellent service in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate international shipments from booking through final delivery.
- Prepare and manage shipping, transport, and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, agents, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and system data.
- Support cost control, operational efficiency, and service quality initiatives.
- Work closely with commercial and operations teams to meet customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.




- 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Experience in ocean freight, air freight, road transport, or multimodal logistics is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of international transport processes and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- FIATA, customs, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.
