About Luxia:
Luxia is the Italian AI Lab founded in Turin in 2024, developing intelligent solutions to automate data analysis, optimize business processes, and drive strategic decision-making.
About the role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer who can take ideas from scratch, take real ownership, and go all the way to enterprise-ready products. You will work across the full stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and help build AI-powered systems with real-world impact.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, moving fast, and working at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end software solutions, from ideation to production
- Own features and projects end to end (design → code → deploy → iterate)
- Collaborate closely with product, AI, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Integrate LLMs, agentic AI systems, and ML components into production software
- Contribute to technical decisions, best practices, and code quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Bsc with 5+ or MSc (or higher) with 3+ years of experience or equivalent working experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Proven history of owning projects, not just tickets
- Real understanding of AI / ML fundamentals, not just how to call an LLM API comfortable with concepts like model architectures, training vs. inference, embeddings, evaluation, and where classical ML fits vs. deep learning
- Solid understanding of AI / ML concepts, especially: Agentic AI workflows, Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and context/knowledge system design and Applied machine learning
- Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating and giving/receiving feedback
- Self-driven and comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
- Fluent in Italian English
- Able to work from our Turin office at least 3 days per week
