This position supports the SETAF-AF G7 Staff Directorate in the planning and execution of U.S.

African Command (USAFRICOM), U.S.

Army Europe–Africa (USAREUR-AF), and SETAF-AF exercises on the European and African continents.

You will will facilitate all aspects of exercise coordination and preparation throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) across all staff elements, both within SETAF-AF and externally as required.You will develop, coordinate, and execute Command Post Exercise (CPX) training with emphasis on Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) and operational environment development.

Candidates should be familiar with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and be able to translate strategic directives into comprehensive exercise design and plans.Additional duties will include:JELC event management,orders production, concept development, multi-year exercise strategy development, integration of innovation and technology, and logistical planning.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer in the U.S.

military.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with military planning, design,
