For a new engagement with our partner, a Milan-based industrial group, we are seeking a Data Operations Assistant to support our analytical work. This is a full-time, fully remote role for an individual who values intellectual discipline and the precision of the written word.

The Role The Data Operations Assistant is responsible for the integrity and organization of the information that forms the basis of our advisory work. You will spend a significant portion of your time reading through internal documents and financial reports provided by our partner in Milan. Your day-to-day tasks involve extracting specific data points, verifying their accuracy against original sources, and organizing this information so it can be used in our formal memoranda.

Unlike many data roles, this position is not strictly about quantitative processing. You will be expected to summarize your findings in clear prose, identifying gaps in information or contradictions in the records you review. You will maintain our internal databases and ensure that every claim we make in a report can be traced back to a verified assumption or a specific piece of evidence.

What You Bring





We are looking for an individual with a high degree of intellectual maturity and a background in an analytical field. This is an entry-level position, so we value curiosity and a willingness to engage with complex business problems more than years of professional experience. You should have a basic understanding of corporate operations or finance, perhaps gained through your university studies or initial projects.

The primary requirement is the ability to write clearly and concisely. You must be able to explain what the data shows without relying on jargon or filler words. Because this role is fully remote, you need to be a disciplined worker who can manage their own schedule and maintain focus on long-form reading tasks.

We look for candidates who notice small inconsistencies and have the persistence to investigate them until the facts are clear.
