Org. Setting and Reporting The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) provides critical Supply Chain, Geospatial, Information and Telecommunications Technologies services and Training to all Secretariat Entities, Peacekeeping and Special Political Missions, Agencies, Funds and Programmes of the UN system worldwide. This position is located in the United Nations Global Service Centre, Brindisi, Italy within the Supply Chain Service, Planning & Sourcing Support Section, Field Contract Management Team. This position reports directly to the Chief, Planning & Sourcing Support Section. The team supports contract performance management across the Secretariat, including the administration and operational support of corporate systems such as the Contract Performance Reporting Tool (CPRT) and the Instant Feedback System (IFS).
Responsibilities Within delegated authority,



the Contracts Management Officer will be responsible for the following duties: • Plans and manages all contractual aspects of a procurement project; establish and maintain work programme and schedules for on-going contracts and newly planned ones. • Develops and implements operational plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), initiatives and projects relating to contract compliance and performance management. • Manages procurement support activities, including providing input to statement of works/ requirements (including articulation of performance standards and Key Performance Indicators, assist in the development of technical evaluation criteria, provide guidance during contract drafting. • Develops a quality assurance plan to provide a systematic method to monitor contract performance. • Participates in the development of contract risk assessments and risk management plans, including mitigating measures. • Dev
